Babak Haleky is a filmmaker, musician, and creative storyteller based in Vancouver, Canada. He's been working in film and television for more than 20 years, while creating music and developing stories that have been driven by one thing: the desire to create something meaningful. Launched in 2020, Melmin Records began with two releases: Stars in the Sky and Dreams. After releasing music through several labels in Canada, the United States, and internationally, Babak decided to create a label that would give him the freedom to express himself musically rather than work within the creative expectations of others.
Since its launch, Babak has released two albums and several singles spanning ambient, progressive, uplifting trance, and psytrance. His music is available on major streaming platforms worldwide.
